The Abbot-Downing Historical Society museum is in a reconstructed barn in the Blue parking lot, near the entrance to the fairgrounds. It is a free exhibit and contains 2 original Concord Coaches and many other horse-drawn vehicles and exhibits and artifacts relating to Concord’s world-famous Abbot-Downing Company. They made the stagecoaches seen in so many western movies.
How to visit the Concord Coaches…
If you are in the fairgrounds and want to come, just get your hand stamped at the BLUE GATE ticket booth so you can get back into the fair.
